just now we were talking about our L1R4 using our prelim results.
if i used 7+3+2+2+1, then i get 15 points.
and i minus 2 cca points to get 13.
damn english, forgotten to write the question number on compo paper and i failed.
overall i failed by a mere 1%. 1%.
if i passed my english and get c6, my physics or combined science scored a1, and either mt or a math scored distinction,
i would have the chance to get 10 points.
10 points is just enough to get me anywhere.
if you wanna me to tell the truth, haha!
know how i studied e math?
i only read the whole sec 1 to 4 textbooks! 4 in total!
reading ONLY.
actually the whole prelims i only studied with reading.
NO practice at all, the truth!
but if i have to aim 10 points, i guess i have to work harder.
just for the sake of my a math, i'll practice with papers!
during the 1 week break lah.
my cousin told me part of his story.
he didn't really study for his O's last time, but he scored well to get into JC.
and he took all pure sciences back then, all scoring A's.
i'm going to be like him - just the part where he scored A's.
if the O's is easier than our prelims, i could just be able to get 10.
Wow - i'd tell you!
it's me again!
the only person who gotten a bronze.
i can feel my potential getting there on my maths.
i tried SMO in sec 2, gotten bronze.
sec 3, i declined to be in the SMO. then i had a 'lecture' by miss kho and miss tay.
this year, mr ang persuaded me into joining.
now in my thoughts is that, if i had joined SMO during sec 3,
i might just be able to get 3 bronze in a row.
i just like this school even more.
if i had a chance to choose any school i like, i would still choose junyuan!
who says neighbourhood schools are lousy!
these schools have the most caring teachers after all.
better than the teachers in good schools taking credits when they even didn't help their students - just dumped them to study on their own to get excellent grades.
come to think of it, during primary 6, i was influenced by my friends to choose st. hildas.
i put st. hildas as my 1st choice.
but they didn't accept me because i only had 226.
they rather chose a girl with the same mark and her english was better than me by a grade than me.
that's what made me furious that time.
but if you were to compare that girl and me now,
i guess i'm doing better than her, because she's my cousin's friend.
even my cousin didn't even scored better than me.
but who cares, it's only a prelim.
the real challenge is the O's.
so i'm gonna buck up 99% more!
to prove that our school has the talent to nurture good students - academically and physically.
