from the textbook, 'is is the point through which its whole weight appears to act for any orientation of the object.'
but a question popped up; 'is it true that the COG always acts on the object? What about a ring?'
you push a box with sides 50cm weigh 10kg with a force of 100N up a plank of length 2m up a lorry with height 0.8m.
you push a circular boulder weigh 10kg up again with the same force.
why is the work force of pushing up the boulder lesser than than of the box?
